Wedding Trends 2015
Jan 27, 2015
As we enter into proposal season, we are keeping an eye on the emerging 2015 wedding trends. Here are a few that we are in love with already:
In 2015, you will see a shift from boho chic to garden inspired weddings. These weddings will feature lush green florals with crisp white linens. Accent colors will be vary each season but will be soft and feminine. The receptions will be outside surrounded by lots of greenery in a natural setting like at Calistoga Ranch.
Recently named Pantone’s color of the year, you will start seeing this deep red hue on many brides’ Pinterest boards. Marsala will add an element of sophistication and richness to invitations, flowers and table linens. This is the perfect palette for venues like Auberge du Soleil for it is a “naturally robust and earthy wine red” color.
Straps are Back
2015 is the year of the sleeves whether cap, off the shoulder or full length. While brides are opting to cover up when it comes to the arms, we notice a bit of a peek-a-boo back started to emerge even more this season.
We are starting to see bites sized stations during cocktail hour over the traditional tray passed canapes we’ve become accustomed to. Guests move among make-it-your-self or made-to-order stations enjoying some of the couples favorites foods. Examples include a build-your-own taco bar, raw seafood bar, and even food trucks are starting to make an appearance. Your options for a customized culinary experience are endless.
